Raheny Art Deco House, Dublin Ireland

Concept - Mid-Century | Comtemporary | Cosy Minimalist located in Raheny Dublin, Ireland.

EP Interior Design was involved in designing a statement joinery piece in the new part of the house for this outstanding and iconic 1930s Art Deco style home by architects Robinson, Keefe and Devane.

The design brief was to carry that same aesthetics to reflect the current look & feel but also pay respect to the architecture of the house.

By understanding the client’s taste and lifestyle, Elise of EP Interior Design designed the joinery piece based on the warmth and sophistication of mid-century cabinetry design vibes. Designed to enhance both form and function. The curved bench top corner showcases the art deco curves and softens the pathway between formal and causal living spaces. The pullout drawers provide a convenient storage solution for personal items but also ensure a clutter -free space. The bench doubles as extra seating, providing a stylish and practical solution for accommodating guests and fostering meaningful gatherings.

The finishes are infused by the warm palette of stone top, and dark rich wood with sleek fluted cabinet door profile. The ambient light casts a soft glow that accentuates the floating effect of the cabinet, creating an illusion of space and providing a warm ambience for a cold Dublin night.
